Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, May 29 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery decreased by 1.54 U.S. dollars, or 1.73 percent, to settle at 87.36 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery dropped to 1.66 dollars, or 1.77 percent, to settle at 92.05 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
