US kills one man in strike in Eastern Pacific


May ⁠26 (Reuters) - The ⁠U.S. military said ‌on Tuesday that it had carried ​out a ⁠strike in ⁠the Eastern Pacific ⁠that ‌killed one ⁠man and left two ​survivors.

"Following ‌the engagement, ⁠USSOUTHCOM ​immediately notified the U.S. ⁠Coast Guard to ​activate the Search and Rescue ⁠system for the survivors. No U.S. military ​forces ⁠were harmed," ​the U.S. ‌Southern Command ​said.
