Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, May 22 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery went up 25 cents, or 0.26 percent, to settle at 96.6 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery gained 96 cents, or 0.94 percent, to settle at 103.54 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
