At a press conference here, Dimitrov outlined five strategic priorities in his program: connectivity and accessibility, workforce and service quality, advertising and marketing, sector reforms, and improved infrastructure.

Tourism "is an experience, access, quality and trust. And that is exactly what we will work on," Dimitrov said.

According to him, efforts would be made for better connectivity to resorts and cultural and historical sites, more air links, and faster visa procedures.

The program also included measures to ensure necessary personnel in the sector, and more active advertising in Bulgaria and neighboring countries, he said.
