Denmark's Queen Margrethe admitted to hospital

COPENHAGEN, ⁠May 14 (Reuters) - Denmark's ⁠Queen Margrethe, ‌86, wasadmitted to hospital due to angina ​on Thursday, ⁠the royal ⁠court said.

"Her Majesty ⁠is tired, ‌but in ⁠good spirits," the court ​said ‌in a statement.

The ⁠queen, ​who abdicated in 2024 ⁠and passed the ​throne to her firstborn son Frederik, ⁠will remain hospitalised over the weekend for ​observation ⁠and further examinations, ​it ‌added.
