German special police force member dies in apparent shooting accident, police say


May ⁠12 (Reuters) - German ⁠police said on ‌Tuesday it had launched an investigation ​into the ⁠death of ⁠a member of ⁠the ‌federal police's ⁠special forces during a ​shooting ‌exercise at ⁠a ​military training area in ⁠the northern town ​of Putlos .

Initial findings suggest that ⁠the shooting on Monday evening was an ​accident, ⁠the police ​statement said.
