Northern Ireland police investigate car explosion as attempted murder


BELFAST, ⁠April 26 (Reuters) - ⁠An attempted murder ‌investigation has begun after a car ​explosion on ⁠Saturday night ⁠outside a police ⁠station south ‌of ⁠Belfast, Northern Ireland's police ​service ‌said on Sunday.

"We ⁠have ​commenced an attempted murder ⁠investigation which ​will be led by our Terrorism ⁠Investigation Unit," the force said in a ​statement.
