Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery gained 4.22 dollars, or 4.79 percent, to settle at 92.35 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery went up 4.55 dollars, or 4.55 percent, to settle at 104.49 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
