WARSAW, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and two others injured in a fire at a shooting range in Warsaw, Poland, on Saturday.

The blaze broke out inside the facility in the Ursynow district and spread to a nearby parked vehicle, Polish news channel TVN24 reported, adding that the shooting range was undergoing renovation.

Fire engines, ambulances and an air ambulance helicopter were dispatched to the scene.

Pawel Fratczak, a former spokesman for the Polish State Fire Service chief commander, told TVN24 that witnesses saw heavy smoke inside the building. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
