Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for April delivery went up 2.18 U.S. dollars, or 2.27 percent, to settle at 98.32 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery added 3.54 dollars, or 3.26 percent, to settle at 112.19 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
