Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices settled mixed on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for April delivery decreased by 18 cents, or 0.19 percent, to settle at 96.14 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery increased by 1.27 dollars, or 1.18 percent, to settle at 108.65 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
