MINSK, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) reached 43.9 billion Belarusian rubles (14.65 billion U.S. dollars) in January-February 2026, the country's National Statistical Committee said Tuesday.
At comparable prices, the GDP volume amounted to 98.8 percent of the level recorded in the same period of 2025.
The GDP deflator rose to 109.3 percent year on year, reflecting a 9.3 percent increase in price levels.
Regarding plans for 2026, a presidential decree on key forecast parameters of the national economy sets the GDP growth target at 2.8 percent. (1 Belarusian ruble = 0.33 U.S. dollars)
