"Hoppers" tops North American box office for 2nd consecutive weekend


LOS ANGELES, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Disney and Pixar's animated film "Hoppers" easily repeated as the winner of the North American box office with an estimated three-day cume of 28.5 million U.S. dollars in its second weekend, according to figures released by Comscore on Sunday.

The all-new feature film has grossed 86.8 million dollars in North America for a global total of 164.7 million dollars after only 10 days in release.

Universal's romantic drama film "Reminders of Him" opened in the second spot with 18.25 million dollars.

Rounding out the top three, another newcomer, A24's horror film "Undertone," earned 9.33 million dollars this weekend.
