Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for April delivery added 2.98 U.S. dollars, or 3.11 percent, to settle at 98.71 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery gained 2.68 dollars, or 2.67 percent, to settle at 103.14 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
