Olympic women's freeski halfpipe final rescheduled amid adverse weather (updated)

LIVIGNO, Italy, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- The women's freeski halfpipe final at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, originally scheduled for 19:30 local time on Saturday, has been rescheduled for Sunday, the final day of the Games, due to adverse weather conditions.

The competition venue at Livigno Snow Park saw continuous snowfall and strong winds throughout the day, prompting organizers to adjust the competition schedule. The competition was initially postponed to 21:00, and is now scheduled to start at 10:40 on Sunday.

China's four competitors in the event, Gu Ailing, Li Fanghui, Zhang Kexin and Liu Yishan, have all advanced to the final. Gu is the defending Olympic champion.
