Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for March delivery increased by 1.24 U.S. dollars, or 1.9 percent, to settle at 66.43 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for April delivery gained 1.31 dollars, or 1.86 percent, to settle at 71.66 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
