2nd LD Writethru: 6.0-magnitude quake hits Magway, Myanmar


YANGON, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck Magway region, Myanmar, at about 10:04 p.m. local time on Tuesday, the country's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) reported.

According to the DMH, the epicenter was located about 20 miles west-northwest of Sidoktaya town in Magway region.

The epicenter, with a depth of 58 km, was initially determined to be at 20.50 degrees north latitude and 93.94 degrees east longitude, the DMH said.
