Belarus sets record with 10 bln USD food exports in 2025

MINSK, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Belarus exported food products worth a record 10 billion U.S. dollars in 2025, the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry said Friday.

Belarus achieved its sharpest annual growth in food and agricultural raw material exports, with agro-industrial output accounting for a quarter of total commodity exports, solidifying the sector as a key driver of the national economy, the ministry said in a statement.

It said that dairy products remained the leading export category, accounting for 40 percent of total shipments, followed by meat products at 19 percent.

According to the statement, Belarusian agricultural goods were delivered to 116 countries worldwide, with the strongest growth observed in the Commonwealth of Independent States and Asian markets.
