Chile's Kast to appoint economist Jorge Quiroz as finance minister, local media reports

SANTIAGO, ‌Jan 6 (Reuters) - ‌Chilean President-elect Jose ‌Antonio Kast is planning on appointing ‍economist Jorge ‍Quiroz as ‌his finance minister, ‍local ​newspaper Diario ⁠Financiero reported on Tuesday.

The ‌newspaper cited multiple ⁠sources ‍who attended a meeting ‍between the president-elect ‌and local business people on Tuesday morning. Kast is set to take ‌power on March 11.
