Russia's domestic tourist trips up 5 pct in first 11 months of 2025

MOSCOW, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- Russia recorded 82.9 million domestic tourist trips from January to November in 2025, up 5 percent year on year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said Tuesday.

The steady growth brought the country closer to its goal of raising tourism's contribution to 5 percent of the GDP and increasing annual tourist trips to 140 million by 2030, Chernyshenko said.
