Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for February delivery added 37 cents, or 0.64 percent, to settle at 58.38 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for February delivery gained 31 cents, or 0.5 percent, to settle at 62.38 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
