3 injured in bus stop crash in central Germany: media

BERLIN, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Three people were injured after a car crashed into a bus stop in the central German city of Giessen on Monday afternoon, according to German media reports.

The crash occurred at around 4:30 p.m. local time (1530 GMT), German media outlet FOCUS Online reported, citing local police.

A 32-year-old driver collided with two vehicles traveling in the same direction before driving on and crashing into a nearby bus stop, the report said.

Three people were injured, including one who suffered serious injuries, police said.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear and are under investigation.
