1 injured in light aircraft crash near Moscow

MOSCOW, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- A light aircraft crashed during takeoff near Novinki Airfield in Russia's Moscow region, leaving one injured, TASS news agency reported, citing local emergency services on Saturday.

The two-seat light aircraft crashed 3 km from Novinki Airfield in Serpukhov city. "Preliminarily, one of the pilots sustained injuries, with a broken leg. The other pilot escaped unharmed," the report said.
