OSLO, Dec 10 (Reuters) - Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado will not attend the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony in Oslo on Wednesday, broadcaster NRK reported, citing the Norwegian Nobel Institute.

Machado, 58, has been subject to a decade-long travel ban imposed by Venezuelan authorities and has been in hiding for more than a year. Her whereabouts were not immediately known.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee had invited her to Oslo to receive the award in the presence of King Harald, Queen Sonja and Latin American leaders including Argentinian President Javier Milei and Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa.
