NEW YORK, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell in late trading on Thursday.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, decreased by 0.03 percent to 99.563 at 3 p.m. (2000 GMT).
In late New York trading, the euro rose to 1.1595 dollars from 1.1594 dollars in the previous session, and the British pound added to 1.3237 dollars from 1.3235 dollars in the previous session.
The U.S. dollar bought 156.34 Japanese yen, lower than 156.46 Japanese yen of the previous session. The U.S. dollar advanced to 0.8050 Swiss francs from 0.8043 Swiss francs, and it was down to 1.4030 Canadian dollars from 1.4040 Canadian dollars. The U.S. dollar fell to 9.4802 Swedish kronor from 9.5038 Swedish kronor.
