43 injured as funeral structure collapses in Russia's Chechnya

MOSCOW, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- Forty-three people were injured in the collapse of a wooden structure during a funeral in Russia's Chechnya, the regional ministry of health said Tuesday.

The regional administration said that the collapse involved a temporary wooden structure installed above a basement space at a private house during the funeral.

According to the ministry, two of the injured remain in intensive care, while the others are under medical supervision in their residences.
