21st Chinese American film, TV festivals open in Los Angeles


LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- The 21st Chinese American Film Festival and the Chinese American TV Festival kicked off in Los Angeles, the U.S. state of California, on Thursday evening.

About 800 participants gathered for the cultural event, which aims to promote exchange and cooperation between the Chinese and U.S. film and television industries.
