Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery dropped 79 cents, or 1.33 percent, to settle at 58.70 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for December delivery lost 93 cents, or 1.47 percent, to settle at 62.39 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
