NEW YORK, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher on Tuesday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 81.82 points, or 0.18 percent, to 46,397.89. The S&P 500 added 27.25 points, or 0.41 percent, to 6,688.46. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 68.86 points, or 0.3 percent, to 22,660.01.
