Egypt, UAE leaders discuss Gaza, voice support for Trump ceasefire plan

CAIRO/ ISTANBUL (Bernama-Anadolu): The leaders of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) held talks in Cairo on Monday (Sept 29) to discuss the situation in the war-torn Gaza Strip, emphasising the importance of supporting US President Donald Trump's plan to end the conflict in the enclave, Anadolu Ajansi reported.

An Egyptian presidency statement said talks between President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his Emirati counterpart, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, took up regional developments, particularly Gaza.
