Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for November delivery dropped 2.27 U.S. dollars, or 3.45 percent, to settle at 63.45 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery lost 2.16 dollars, or 3.08 percent, to settle at 67.97 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
