BUDAPEST, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Hungary's tourism hit a 2025 peak in August with 2.8 million visitors, up 5.2 percent year-on-year, driven mainly by a 10 percent surge in foreign arrivals, according to the Ministry for National Economy.
From January to August, the number of domestic guests arriving to tourist accommodations was 1.9 percent higher than that of last year, and that of the international visitors was 11 percent higher, the ministry said Friday.
