Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery lost 89 cents, or 1.4 percent, to settle at 62.68 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery slipped 76 cents, or 1.13 percent, to settle at 66.68 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
