China promotes discussions on restructuring of global trade at WTO


GENEVA, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- A seminar focused on global trade readjustment amid the current trade turmoil was held here Thursday as part of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Public Forum 2025.

Organized by China's Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, the seminar discussed the impact of the U.S. unilateral tariff measures on the multilateral trading system and trade among WTO members. It also focused on how the legitimate rights and interests of developing members can be safeguarded by strengthening the multilateral trading system.
