PARIS, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- A man attacked children outside a school in the southern French town of La Seyne-sur-Mer Thursday afternoon before being killed by police, French news channel BFMTV reported.

The man attacked children outside the Pierre Semard school and then confronted the police officers arriving to the scene, BFMTV reported, citing police sources, without giving further details on the condition of the children targeted by the attacker or his motives.
