Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery dropped 1.3 U.S. dollars, or 2.04 percent, to settle at 62.37 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery slipped 1.12 dollars, or 1.66 percent, to settle at 66.37 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
