Ghanaian economy grows 6.3 pct in Q2

ACCRA, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) said Wednesday that the country's economy expanded by 6.3 percent in the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, up from 5.7 percent in the same period last year.

Addressing a press briefing in Accra, the capital of Ghana, government statistician Alhassan Iddrisu said the main drivers of Q2 growth were information and communication, education, manufacturing, and financial and insurance activities.
