South Sudan honors outgoing Chinese medical team, welcomes new batch


JUBA, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- The South Sudanese government and the Chinese embassy in the country on Tuesday honored the outgoing 12th batch of the Chinese medical team with certificates of recognition for their service to local communities, while welcoming the newly arrived 13th batch at a ceremony in Juba, the capital.

Health Minister Sarah Cleto Rial commended the departing team for their professionalism and compassion. "Your dedication, professionalism, and compassion have left a lasting impact on our people," Cleto said. "You have treated countless patients, performed complex surgeries, and provided high-quality care to those in need."
