UK prosecutors charge 11 individuals over gambling services in Turkey


LONDON (Reuters) -British prosecutors have charged 11 individuals, including the former head of the owner of Ladbrokes, with offences including bribery, relating to the provision of gambling services in Turkey between 2011 and 2018, the Crown Prosecution Service said on Thursday.

Among those named in the CPS statement was Kenneth Alexander, the former chief executive of GVC, who was charged with conspiracy to defraud and conspiracy to bribe between 2011 and 2018.
