Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery slipped 1.55 U.S. dollars, or 2.39 percent, to settle at 63.25 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for October delivery dropped 1.58 dollars, or 2.3 percent, to settle at 67.22 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
