Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices rose on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for September delivery went up 62 cents, or 0.99 percent, to settle at 63.42 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for October delivery added 75 cents, or 1.14 percent, to settle at 66.6 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
