Magnitude 6 earthquake strikes Russia's Kuril Islands region, EMSC says

(Reuters) -A magnitude 6 earthquake struck the east of the Kuril Islands region of Russia on Saturday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), EMSC said.
