Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, July 28 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for September delivery added 1.55 U.S. dollars, or 2.38 percent, to settle at 66.71 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery went up 1.6 dollars, or 2.34 percent, to settle at 70.04 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
