Russia launches direct air route from Moscow to Pyongyang


MOSCOW, July 27 (Xinhua) -- Russia on Sunday opened a direct air route from its capital Moscow to Pyongyang, capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, with the first flight of the air link taking off Sunday evening from the Sheremetyevo airport.

The flight is scheduled to take around eight hours.
