Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for September delivery went up 78 cents, or 1.2 percent, to settle at 66.03 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery increased by 67 cents, or 0.98 percent, to settle at 69.18 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
