Belarus GDP up 2.1 pct year on year in H1

MINSK, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian gross domestic product (GDP) grew 2.1 percent year on year in the first half of this year, data from the country's statistical committee showed Wednesday.

The country's GDP in the first six months amounted to 129.4 billion Belarusian rubles (about 44 billion U.S. dollars) in current prices, said the committee.
