Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for August delivery lost 1.81 U.S. dollars, or 2.65 percent, to settle at 66.57 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery lost 1.55 dollars, or 2.21 percent, to settle at 68.64 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
