Weekly storage of natural gas in U.S. increases: EIA

HOUSTON, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Working gas storage in the contiguous United States was 2,953 billion cubic feet in the week ending June 27, a net increase of 55 billion cubic feet from the previous week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a report on Thursday.

The total working gas storage declined by 5.6 percent from this time last year, but was up by 6.2 percent from the five-year average, according to the EIA's Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report.
