Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for August delivery lost 45 cents, or 0.67 percent, to settle at 67.00 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery went down by 31 cents, or 0.45 percent, to settle at 68.80 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
