Serbia's foreign trade rises over 10 pct in five months

BELGRADE, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Serbia's total foreign trade in goods amounted to 33.7 billion U.S. dollars from January to May 2025, marking a 10.7 percent increase year-on-year, the country's statistical office said Monday.

Exports grew by 10 percent to 14.85 billion U.S. dollars, while imports rose by 11.3 percent to 18.89 billion U.S. dollars. The European Union (EU) remained Serbia's largest trading partner bloc, accounting for 58.3 percent of the country's total trade.

Intermediate goods made up 42.2 percent of Serbia's exports and 32.6 percent of its imports, followed by consumer goods and equipment.
